Parent Info

Posted here are positions that parents can fill if interested. Please contact the Admins if you are interested in any of these positions. Note that parent involvement and support is a critical part of the success of the Beverly Hills Drumline. We thank all of the parents for their help and encourage them to continue to assist the group in any way they can.

Positions:

1. Costumes and Props - Getting the costumes and backdrops/props designed and created. May require sewing, taking measurements, and researching for fabric.

2. Transportation - Help ensure that all kids have a ride to show sites and that drivers have directions to show sites. Assisting with equipment moving is also greatly desired.

3. Competitions - Help move equipment around at shows, help arrange lunch/dinner for kids, help bring equipment on and off competition floor.

4. Fundraisers - Help raise funding for the drumline (we do performances for your businesses and parties).

The 2005-2006 BHHS Drumline and staff would like to thank all of the parents who showed up at the crack of dawn and stayed with the group for many long days to help move equipment, feed the students, transport people, and everything else they did. It was due to all the generous aid that the group was able to succeed so much in the first year of competition. Special thanks go to the Rolapp family for the use of their trucking company, Beverly Hills Transfer and Storage, to move all of our equipment for each show and for creating all of the costumes. Special thanks to the Kaplans for all the show site food and beverages as well as a couple of critical fund raising gigs. Special thanks to the Emrani family for hosting our banquet luncheon. Special thanks to the Dina family for some very important fund raising opportunities.
